Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I am Brian Laws, manager of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. Through the course of my job I have had the pleasure of coming into contact with the numerous brave young children who for varying reasons have to spend time in hospital.
One of those children is Daniel Grice, who has had a really hard time with leukemia. Daniel is a big fan of Scunthorpe United, where I was manager until moving to Sheffield Wednesday in 2006.
I have visited Daniel at Sheffield Children's Hospital a few times and he was able to return home for Christmas in Scunthorpe. It was good to be able to see Daniel at home over the festive period and, having got to know each other better, he challenged me to do a parachute jump for the Children's Hospital.
Sheffield Children's Hospital do a wonderful job in providing the much needed, sometimes life saving health care to countless children so I agreed to take up his challenge. With your help I would like to raise as much money as possible to allow this worthy charity to continue their unfaltering care work.
On the 9th of July I will be travelling to Hibaldstow Airfield near Brigg in Lincolnshire, where I will be doing my first ever parachute jump.
Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
