I've somehow been talked into climbing the three highest mountains in the UK! We'll be walking for about 6 hours a day up, and driving for the same time again, for 3 days in a row!

I'd be considered crazy if i'd done this in my 20s, let alone now! But my daughter has convinced me it's an experience (all be it a very painful one!) and we want to raise as much money as we possibly can for charity.

Gem has been particularly affected by cancer in young people as her best friend Harriet died of Bone Cancer when she was just 16. As a parent, watching their daughter go through so much pain is horrendous. There's nothing at all you can do. Graham and I always think about Harriets parents and how devastating it must have been for them. Teenage Cancer Trust are a charity set up to provide specialist care to young adults and teenagers with cancer, and do extensive research into how to stop this horrible disease taking our younger generation.
