Story
187 miles, 5 punctures, lots of carbs, one angry angler, a few big hills and several pints later … we did it! The Trans Pennine Trail, Liverpool to Hull, in 4 days (23–26 July 2009). Photos are being uploaded here
HUGE THANKS to everyone who sponsored us!

COMING SOON! – COAST TO COAST CYCLE RACE
To carry on Mum's work, and to give us lot left behind a positive goal to achieve, we've set ourselves a challenge to cycle the Transpennine trail from Liverpool to Hull - 200 miles over the Pennines - in four days. We're doing it over the 23rd-26th July and hope to add to the near £15,000 mum already raised for the Mouth Cancer Foundation. Training is proving tough, we did a Leeds to Sheffield run recently, and as the trail is off road it's no easy feat to travel 50 miles in one day!
If you can, please support our team made up of John (my father), Dan (my brother), Andy (my partner), Melanie, Simona and Rachel (friends) by sponsoring us (see link below). And please do share this with anyone interested in supporting us.
Thanks in advance, and if nothing else wish us luck, it's going to HURT

Mouth Cancer Walk 2008: 20th September
UPDATE: see photos of the walk here
Dan, Becky and John took part in the mouth cancer walk this year exactly three months following Brenda's death. It was a perfect tribute to her, the sun shone, and Vinod from the Mouth Cancer Foundation made a very special tribute to her. He described her as the most selfless and lovely person he had ever met, and that she was an inspiration to all who met her. We couldn't agree more.
We raised £383.32 ... thanks so very much for continuing mum's work in supporting the mouth cancer foundation! - Becky xx
*** Brenda (intermittently) kept a blog during her illness – you can read it here ***
Mouth Cancer Awareness Week - Coffee Morning

My 60th Birthday Celebrations..
We had a wonderful party on the 19th August with 168 people enjoying the cabaret; Zoe and her jazz band opened the evening then Leah Bell had us all laughing at her hilarious variety act - her group of dancing girls created quite a stir in their next- to-nothing outfits!!
The evening raised £2,337 for Mouth Cancer - A truly magnificent sum - thank you to everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
PS. People who don't see their name on this list have made their cheques payable to Mouth Cancer Foundation or have donated direct. A very big thank you to them. (see 'amount donated offline')
Thank you
Brenda- and now her family Becky, Dan and John
