Story
About Brazil & James
Brazil (Kelly) & James (Stephen) are a real life couple who live in Kelly’s home town of Redditch. Stephen is originally from Rowley Regis, but their shared passion of singing brought the duo together 3 and a half years ago, having known each other for a staggering 17 years as friends.
Kelly and Stephen got together during lockdown, and became a bi-weekly instalment in people’s lives with a Saturday evening live broadcast on Facebook called “The Brazil & James Show” which amassed hundreds of thousands of views in its time.
Since lockdown, the pair have continued with their singing successes both individually and as a collective. They are both leads in the hit UK theatre show, Frankie The Concert, and provided backing vocals for 2023 Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Amy Lou, in her debut theatre appearances.
Why Are They Raising Money?
Being a very happy and content couple, Kelly & Stephen have let themselves go lately!! 🤣 And a phone call from the doctor has awakened the couple to do something about their physical health.
So, in a bid to get healthier, they have swapped the fish and chips for fitness and have taken the plunge to kickstart this lifestyle change with a sponsored run.
Kelly & Stephen will be running (and walking!!) 10k in the grounds of Alton Towers on the 11th November, 2023 in aid of Children In Need. There are too many children in desperate need all over the UK, and the couple hold this very close to their hearts and wish to help raise money to create a better life for those who need it most.
About Children In Need
A host of celebrities get together for the BBC's annual telethon in an effort to raise money for Children in Need. All donations go to the charity that helps improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people around the UK. Famous faces join Pudsey the bear, the organisation's mascot, for a night of fundraising. Viewers can expect to see sketches, comedy routines, challenges and music performances. Individuals who have been supported by the charity also share their stories.
