Sarah died of leukaemia in May 2014, seven and a half years after first being diagnosed, and a year after receiving a stem cell transplant that sadly failed to work. She was a remarkable girl, mother of five children, and wife, who was beautiful, clever and very kind. And who never once complained about her illness.  She was full of adventure and would have been the first up to join us on this year's Mongol Rally. I have no doubt she will be following us on our trip with a wry smile on her gentle face!
