On Monday morning 13 ^th September 2010 at around 6.30am, the  Captains Climb team reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.  Extremely tired, cold but triumphant!   

On behalf of the Captains, Huw and his family and Velindre, we would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported the Captains Climb and the Stepping Stones Appeal by donating.  The climb has so far raised a staggering £300,000, which is amazing...thank you!!

 

The team are now focusing on reaching the target of £1m for Velindre Cancer Centre’s Stepping Stones Appeal, raising awareness about lung cancer and funding research.
