We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

I am planning to cross there and back the notorious Morcombe Bay Sands with ten or more enthusiastic MF/Ferguson tractor drivers on sunday 2nd June 2013. The event will be the first of its kind, and starts at mid-day (12:00 noon) from Cark Airfield at Flookburgh near Grange over sands, Cumbria. As there are around 3.7 million sufferes of diabetes in the UK with almost 29 thousand in Cumbria alone, all the money raised will be used fro reasearch into the Type one diabetes condition.

If you cant make the event on the 2nd of June, diabetes UK would like you to know a little about the charity and how you could help.

About the charity...Diabetes UK is the leading charity working for people with diabetes, funding research and helping people live with the condition. Its mission is to inprove the lives of people with diabetes and to work towards a future without diabetes. Any donation you are able to make will help us make a huge difference. Thank you for your kind support.
