We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

My name is Ben, I am 24 years old and attempting to
temporarily leave the joys of Excel; switching it up for some outdoor action.

Being a Southend United season ticket holder (not one of my proudest moments), I am glad to combine my love of football with a well needed fitness goal - Football to Amsterdam. I am extremely happy to be raising money for such a worthy cause and look forward to seeing the Johan Cruyff Arena in the distance.

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.

I’m riding with 3 amazing colleagues from Howells who are
also taking part. We will also be joining 3 other teams in a huge effort to
raise £50,000 for this for this worthwhile cause.

Individually we all need to raise £1200 so please, if you
can, please sponsor us to help us reach our target.

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men
with in the UK.About 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer during
their lives. Over 47,00 men are diagnosed with Prostate
Cancer every year - that's 129 men every day.Over 330,000 men are living with and after
Prostate Cancer. Every 45 minutes a UK male dies of Prostate
Cancer, that's more than 11,000 men every year. If you're worried about your risk or are experiencing any
symptoms, visit your GP.
