Story
Hello,
Thank you for viewing my page! ABP Southampton marathon 2017 is Southamptons first full marathon. I will be running this on the 23rd April to some just running a marathon is hard enough, I however want to raise as much as I can for Blind Veterans UK so not only am I running a marathon in April when it's starting to get hot I will be doing it in a costume.
When I say costume what I mean is an EOD bomb disposal operators suit which plates and helmet. These suit are not designed to be ran in, so running 26,6 miles in one will not be easy.
This risk I am willing to take as Blind Veterans UK help so many veterans, giving them a life without sight. One of there members I helped around a race was Mark Threadgold completely blind but tackled the obstacles with a smile.
The charity also helped a great man I once New Albert Lawrance, he was in his 90s living happily on his own with thanks to Blind Veterans UK.
So please help to raise as much money as possible for this charity and help them to give back to those who have already given so much.
I am the one in the black top in the photo Mark is the middle guy.
