Story

While I worked at Bulmer's I lost my own secretary Emma Farr to Breast Cancer she was only 36 years old and left a husband and 4 year old daughter called Megan

My sister Pamela and our own Territory manager Dougie Mills daughter Alison were  also diagnosed with  Breast Cancer but after lots of treatment  they have mercifully been  given the all clear

This terrible disease highlighted to us all the need for specialist equipment and support both of which are often not readily available from the  National Health Service
To that end a number of us here at Black Sheep  Brewery have agreed to raise money to fund urgently needed equipment for our local breast cancer ward at  The Scott Suite at the Friarage Hospital Northallerton which will benefit local people . Registered charity number 1056061.

How are we going to do this? Well in late spring  2009 the undersigned people plan to set of f from Black Sheep  Brewery on motor bikes and ride to  the Arctic Circle in an attempt to raise the £25,000 needed to support the Breast Cancer Ward at Northallerton Hospital ,and purchase the necessary equipment.
