I was honoured to be asked to join this wonderful charity Katy Holmes Trust as their ambassador of laughter after Paula and Dave Holmes followed my antics. Paula said Bev had helped her laugh again after such a tragic loss.

Here I am months on and I've had a great time being part such a wonderful team. I rode the Katy Holmes float in the Preston guild, kept spirits up with my interesting life! Also raised £1400 at the event An Evening With Beverly Macca. Dave Holmes will be doing the bike ride Johnny Groats to Lands End next August. Unfortunately my battery won't last that long on me Bevmobile so I am going to do the Preston leg of the journey to raise money for the charity on my scooter.

Talking of my scooter or the Bevmobile - The lovely people at Bell Mobility have kindly gifted a new set of wheels to me. This is a wonderful gesture and will make the fundraising event even more fun! Thank you Michelle & John.
