Story
Hi and thanks for visitng my fundraising page, I am planning a Himalayan Trek in Northern India during November this year to raise money for Claire House Children's hospice. I will be away from Neil and Evie for 12 days and the trek will follow the Dalai Lama trail into the Himalayas, up to altitudes of over 10,000 feet, trekking approx 7 - 8 hours per day. Neil has also signed me up for a Triathlon in August to make sure you get your monies worth!! I am also running in two 10k races.
Claire House is a wonderful Hospice for children and their families which myself and Neil support on a regular basis. They provide 24 hour respite and terminal care for children with a life threatening or life limiting illness.
Claire House relies entirely on the generosity and help of people like yourselves for all of its income and running costs.
£2,500 will find a nurse and their costs for one month £1,500 will give 24 hour medical cover for one month
£400 will fund our pharmacy and sundry expenses
£110 will cover the cost of meal times for all the children and their families for one day
£60 will fund play activities for the children and their siblings daily
£30 will fund our hydrotherapy pool for one day
