Story
Thank you for visiting the Swing For Sammy fundraising page.
My beautiful wife Sam lost her battle with Cancer in February 2008. She fought Cancer with Grace and dignity and never let it stand in her way.
In August 2008 we ran the first Swing For Sammy golf tournament at Muswell Hill golf club. We hoped the day would be a success but were amazed how well it went. Since then, we have raised more than £47,000, the majority of which went to Cancer Research UK but we have also supported the Royal Marsden hospital where Sam recieved some treatment, Hospice in the Weald where Sam spent her last days and St Mark's foundation in Harrow which is the country's leading Bowel Cancer specialist. Since 2010, we have also supported the Seve Ballesteros Foundation for brain cancer.
The fourth Swing For Sammy event will take place on July 29th 2011, if it can be anywhere near as successful as the three previous events we will be overjoyed.
Anyone wishing to support our site will be very much appreciated, it's a wonderful cause and these vital charities need our continued support to keep working on finding a cure for Cancer. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the next events, thank you again for all your support, Ben Trow.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
