Story

Hi there...

Thank you very much for visiting my page. I hope you can spare a few minutes to read the following. It's very important to me:

This weekend, I will embark on the greatest challenge of my life. Running the 2013 Virgin London Marathon.

Why? Because I want to help Demelza House.

The charity provides hospice care for nearly 800 children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses and their families across Kent and East Sussex.

"Adding life to days when days cannot be added to life".

It's inspirational. Staffed and run by some exceptional people, it receives very little government support and having seen their work up close I hope to do my bit to help.

I'm delighted I have the chance to run in one of the country's most famous sporting events for this charity.

As many of you will know - I've trained religiously for months and I'm taking the challenge very seriously.

With less than a week to go, I am almost at my target (money has been raised offline too) and I hope, together, we will be able to push towards actually reaching the full amount and ultimately help Demelza House.

I will keep you updated with my training here and you can follow me on Twitter too @benmundy.

If you prefer, you can donate via text message. Text BENM84 to 70070.

Thank you for your generosity.
