Beit Sahour is a wonderful little town just outside Bethlehem. Being in the West Bank, free space is at a premium, but the local residents have created this fantastic play-park for kids. It's the only one for miles around, and even now is under threat from Settlers.
One thing the park needs though is some decent toilets. They reckon it'll cost about £5000 to build them, and this seems like a really simple and tangible thing we can do to help a community that has suffered so much.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to give: Amos Trust (who are co-ordinating the fundraising) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
All donations appreciated!
