Story

Hey - you found me! Welcome to my JustGiving page...

As you know, last year I joined the British Heart Foundation Fochabers Fundraising Group as a volunteer walks organiser and 'ta daaa' - Beat the Ben' was born!

Fifty-four walkers of all ages and abilities climbed Ben Rinnes, a much loved Corbett in Speyside, and together we raised over £1000 - not bad, right? This year, I've set myself a challenge (well, two actually) to be joined by walkers, beat the path to Ben Rinnes Carn on Saturday 23rd August and raise even more money, as well as a lot of awareness, in the fight for every hearbeat.

I've decided that climbing Ben Rinnes multiple times in 2 days (the perks of being an event organiser!) is not enough, however, so the weekend after, I'm getting on my (beloved) road bike, donning my red t-shirt and pedalling 50 miles in the BHF Loch Ness Bike Ride on Saturday 30th August.

Please support the British Heart Foundation (and me!). Think we can do it? Of course we can!

If you're not yet convinced to part with a penny or two, you can read about some of the work the money raised will go to at www.bhf.org.uk - it's pioneering stuff! Inspiring to say the least.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
