I'm supporting the Basket Brigade to provide Christmas hampers to  95 limbless Veterans in London…or as we say in the US…wounded warriors.

We don't need a lot of funds to make this happen. Each hamper costs £20 and is delivered on 23rd December. Our target is £2000.

I was introduced to the Basket Brigade by my good friend Harry Singha who leads this project each year. Huge baskets of food including all the trimmings and even a veggie Turkey option are wrapped with a bow and delivered to deserving families.The families are nominated by Charities, Schools, Churches etc. The baskets are prepared by volunteers in London. One year we recruited Congressman Kucinich to help at Little Ilford School in Newham. It is a wonderful initiative and brings together so many amazing volunteers from across the city. This year I would like to add the 95 ' BLESMA' Veterans in London to our list of deliveries.
