Against Barry's better judgement, he has decided to take part in our Firewalk event on 22nd October which will involve him walking across hot coals in support of the Beatson Pebble Appeal (some say he does that already...)

So we would encouage you all to dig deep and reach the target of £5,000 - it might be the only time you'll get to see Barry hot and bothered!

For those of you that don't know, the Beatson Pebble Appeal is a campaign to build a cancer research centre that will convert groundbreaking scientific discoveries into real benefits for patients.  We have raised £8.7m of the £10m that is needed which is great news, but we still have a way to go before reaching our target.
