In February last year i was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I was having problems with my hearing, luckily my consultant at Doncaster Royal Infirmary sent me for an MRI scan and although the scan showed there was nothing wrong with my ears, it showed a lump on my brain known as a tumour. After having numerous MRI scans at Sheffield hospital, in May my scan showed my tumour had grown. This mean't i had to have a biopsy operation to investigate what type of tumour i had. However the day after my brain surgery i sat 2 of my GCSE exams in Sheffield hospital, showing the determination i have to pass my exams. 2 weeks later we got the unfortunate news that it was cancer. I have just undergone 6 weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy as a result of this i have lost a substantial amount of hair. On the 23rd of September 2013 i go onto the next stage of my treatment which is full chemotherapy for 6 months which i may become very ill. Due to the chemotherapy dosage increasing more hair loss is expected therefore my intentions are to have my head shaved so i don't have to keep going through the upset of my hair falling out. I have a good head on my shoulders and have stayed positive throughout this process. I would just like to say to all those who know me, just because i have cancer and you will see me with no hair i am still the same person and i would appreciate all those who know me to treat me the same as you did before. If you would like to ask me anything feel free to do so, all i ask is you don't look the other way when you see me. It would be nice to have your support whilst going through what i am :)

 Tuesday 18th February 2014

Hey everyone i know some of you have inboxed me asking how i am and im sorry for not replying but its been a tough week for me and my family. Unfortunately on the 10th of February we received some sad news when we went for my MRI scan results. This is a sensitive matter so i'm going to keep it short and sweet. Although my tumour isn't growing the cancer has spread to my spine and my chemotherapy hasn't worked. Therefore my consultant has deemed me as terminally ill. However i definitely don't want to be treated any differently as i am still as positive as ever. I'll be raising money for my charity and doing things i've always wanted to do  thank you for all your support. If anybody has any ideas of ways to raise money for my charity please let me know!

Wednesday 22nd October 2014

On Wednesday 22nd October, the most courageous, talented and beautiful young lady sadly passed away. Hannah was an amazing sister, daughter and friend. I know you all have amazing memories of Hannah and together we will keep her name alive in her charity work for PACT which she was so dedicated to. Hannah's legacy will live on for years to come, she will be looking down so proud knowing the work she started and that continues in the coming years is helping others in similar situations to Hannah and helping to raise awareness for children with cancer.

I would personally like to Thank everyone who has donated without your hard work none of this would have been possible.

Many Thanks

Craig Brown
