Story
On 1st July 2008 I'm going to shave my head for 2 reasons:
1. To keep Mum company as she faces the possibility of hair loss through Chemotherapy
2. To try and raise a little cash for Breast Cancer care UK.
Hair loss has to be the scariest side effect of chemo, particularly for us lasses. I'm going to bite the bullet and give myself a little taste of what so many women have to go through.
Thanks to the help and advice of a local barber in Highworth I will also be able to donate my hair to a charity which makes wigs for women with cancer.
I fully expect to look completely ridiculous, and if you think this is a good enough reason to donate a few pounds to the cause I would really appreciate it
