Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As members of the Ayrshire Yeomanry we are fortunate to be part of a close knit team,we are a family, our bond of friendship and comradeship is second to none.

One of our OWN needs our help and support to raise the funds necessary to carry out life saving treatment for his 11 year old daughter in the USA.

Vanessa's bravery, courage and resolve shown during her intensive teatment has been inspirational. Her story has touched all our hearts and has inspired us to do all we can to help acheive her goal.

The Ayrshire Yeomanry Squadron past and present stand beside Vanessa and her family and will continue to support her cause until her mission is done.

To that aim, we are taking part in the Tough Mudder Hardcore Challenge. This challenge takes place at Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfrieshire on the 14th and 15th of July 2012. The event is a hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaradarie all in one place and all in one day.

Please click on the links below to view the challenge we will face and please donate all you can to help Vanessa beat her challenge.
