Story

All rounded up to the nearest tenner - £60 from Cambridge, £130 from Penarth, £60 from Weston Super Mare.  THANKS!  Latest donations from my Croydon gig and The Tender Trap's last gig at Harlow Square which I compered. Cheers!

UPDATE! It says 80 donors at the moment. They are just the online ones......there have been five times that number at my live gigs I'd say.....thanks so much. Since I'm nearing £2000 with nearly 3 weeks to go I am increasing my target to 2500, exactly 10 times the amount we were asked to raise by the organisers! THANKS.

UPDATE! Over £300 in my helmet in Coventry,  circa £50 in Luton. Online donations still rolling in. I knew you lot were a great bunch but I am inspired by this!

UPDATE! Cheers to everyone who has donated so far, both online and at the latest batch of gigs: Menai Bridge £145, Scunthorpe £50, Manchester £70, two more this week....

On Sun 11 December between 12 noon and 10 pm 50 poets will be peforming/reading 8 mins each at the Komedia in Brighton in aid of the Refugee Council. I've been Attila the Stockbroker since 1980, done more than 3300 gigs in 24 countries, always stood against injustice and bigotry and have never been more proud of my home town than when good people here organise something like this, especially right now. Proud to take part. Please donate and if you can come along and see my spot - or stay longer! Have a beer with me. Support a great cause.
