I ask myself 'why am I doing this'? In recent years I've come across members of family, friends and neighbours whose lives have been hugely affected by crohn's disease and colitis. However, with support, medication and treatment they manage to live more normal lives. Amongst these have been a friend's young son and a young mother who were greatly impacted and continue to be challenged by these disorders.

Those who know me will know that I'm no fitness fanatic (massive understatement). But I've taken up this challenge to raise some money for this essential charity and at the same time get fitter.
