Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

AS Always is a brother and sister group comprising of Ace (9) and Sky (12).

At the age of just 3 years old Ace was diagnosed with blood cancer called Leukemia. He had to endure 3 1/2 years of treatment. His treatment involved over 180 doses of chemo therapy and other medication every 4 weeks, numerous lumber punctures throughout his treatment. During this time Ace was unable to do most things that young boys get up to as he had a 'Hickman line' this is basically a plastic tube that comes out of his chest wall that allows doctors and nurses to administer chemo therapy, get blood samples and get access into his system whenever needed.

Various charities have helped Ace  and his family out during this time by organizing events, family holidays and holidays camps that just Ace and Sky have been on.

As a family trying to get holidays and insurance organized when you have a child with cancer is virtually impossible as we never knew whether or not Ace would be well enough to go on holiday and several times trips were cancelled.

We are trying to raise money for some charities that helped us out through our journey and we are very great full for all donations.

Thanks for visiting our page.
