I'm running the Virgin London Marathon & The Great North Run this year raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of The Charlatans' drummer, Jon Brookes, who tragically lost his life to a brain tumour in August 2013.

Having run the Great North Run in 2013 with a back problem that turned into Deep vein thrombosis, this will be my first marathon after the injury, it won't be my quickest but I'm sure it will be the toughest! It's going to be great to return to Newcastle and have another crack at the Great North Run, hopefully this year I'll be able to enjoy it a little more than last year!

Any donation you could spare would be fantastic, thanks for the support,
