In 2008 my niece, Brida, died aged 14 months from the painful genetic skin disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). More about her short life can be found here; http://www.justgiving.com/brida-elizabeth .

The charity DebRA provided specialist EB nursing and counselling for my family and funds extensive medical research into the disorder.  

In order to raise awareness and money for the charity DebRA, six fully grown men in two extremely small 20-year-old ebay-bargain SEAT Marbella cars (think of a Fiat Panda with all the luxuries removed) emblazoned with DebRA logos are planning a mammoth trans-continental road trip from Marbella on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, to the Arctic Circle, and back to Southampton.

A grand total of 6703 miles.

In 20 year old 40bhp (when new!) 900cc cars.

We will take information leaflets on EB and DebRA to distribute across Europe as we go.
