The CHALLENGE: Complete the Jizerska 50km cross country ski race,  Central Europe's most famous ski race.

I am almost a complete novice at cross country skiing, and this will be my first ever ski race, possibly not the most sensible place to start, but a challenge should be a challenge! Assuming I do not crash out, I will be aiming for around 5 hours. The best finish in just over 2...

This is the JANUARY  Challenge, the third event in the Antrobus '12 in 12' Challenges against Cancer. Twelve extreme personal challenges, one per month over a 12 month period, to raise $250,000 for Cancer Research and the Francis Crick Institute.
