Story
The CHALLENGE: Complete Europe's most famous high mountain ski tour: the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt. I will be training to undertake this 150km tour in 3 or 4 days. The 'normal' timeframe is 5 to 6 days.. I will be in Chamonix in the last week of February to complete the training...We start the fast tour only when the guides say I am ready....
UPDATE:
Mission completed on 19 March 2015, in the targeted three day time frame, under the expert guidance of Ben Bradford, member of the British national ski mountaineering team!! Read Ben's blog for the story of our journey:

The challenge was rescheduled for mid March due to poor weather and snow conditions at the end of February, but we are good to go, and have an exciting route planned across the Trient glacier, down to Champex-Lac, over to Verbier, across the cols to Arolla, then over the high pass at 3700m and a long ski across the glaciers down to Zermatt. 3 days of action packed ski mountaineering...!
