Story
Ian Noble's life was tragically cut short in a road traffic accident on 7th October 2010 aged just 26.
Ian was on the brink of doing some incredible things in life. He was passionate about medical politics and was about to embark on a period of research in diabetes at King's College Hospital.
Ian gained a lot from his research degree at Sheffield University, which enabled him to gain his academic job at King's.
We would like others, who are less financially able, to have the opportunity to study a research degree at Sheffield University, and hopefully go on to make a difference in the world of medicine, as Ian would have done.
