Thank you very much for visiting my page.
** UPDATE ** We all did it!! It was an amazing Sunday, and we all finished and had a great day! Check the blog to see pics and more info!
I, along with Pete's two big brothers, Dave and Mike, will be running the London Marathon in April 2009 for British Heart Foundation.
As I'm sure you will know, we lost our dear Pete in October 2008, shortly after his 29th birthday. He had heart problems from birth, though it never stopped him filling every single second of his life to the absolute brim. There is no other person who was able to inspire people and enhance the lives of anyone he became friends with by simply being there. We hope to carry this feeling of his incredible positivity with us for always, running the London Marathon being a small part of this.
In supporting British Heart Foundation we hope to help their research into all aspects of heart disease, and so hopefully help others through their own heart problems and those of their families.
So, please dig deep and sponsor me (don't forget to gift aid)! While you are at it, why don't you take a look at Dave's and Mike's pages too?
