Tweed Run London 2012, 6 May 2012

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday May 6th I will be joining a large group of lovely people to take part in London's annual Tweed Run - a glorious event in which people dress up in garments constructed using the aforementioned fabric and have a jolly nice time cycling about and stopping traffic all culminating in a picnic.

So what has this got to do with you? Well, I thought that rather than just having a bit of fun I might use this opportunity to also raise some funds for my favourite charity Safe Haven Childrens' Trust. For every £100 raised I will wear an item made of tweed. If you donate a large enough amount (yet to be specified) I will, in fact, wear whatever item of tweed you request assuming I can get my hands on it. So basically the more you donate the more silly I could potentially look - I reckon I can keep it pretty stylish for at least five items but beyond that it could start to get very ridiculous.

So donate now! The tiny cute orphans will appreciate it (even if I don't).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
