Story
At the start of this year I told myself I was going to take part in Race for Life. My Koko (Grandmother) Theresia, fought breast cancer for 13 years; she was relentless till the end and never let cancer be her story. She was strong-willed, hard-working and sharp. Her legacy continues to inspire me. I am running as a reminder to myself and to everyone that cancer IS losing this fight and that together we are making a difference. That's why I feel so honoured to run in her memory and for a cause that supports so many remarkable women.
Speaking of remarkable women, I'll be running alongside my BFFs as part of #TeamBOM (Beyonce's of Malia - our first girls holiday :')). Any donations no matter how big or small, to any of our pages, will support Cancer Research UK's amazing work. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting even just by sharing/tweeting this page; we really appreciate it.Together we ARE beating Cancer.
