About 3 years ago I had a rare case of testicular cancer.  Complications resulted in loosing my right let below the knee.  I now have a prosthetic leg which has enabled me to work as a builder and plumber in Banbury.

People say I'm a bit crazy for taking on this challenge, but I feel that I can now cope both mentally and physically.  A lot of people were very good to me in my dark days and I would like to give something back.

As well as raising money for UCARE I also wanted to show everyone that just because you have some form of physical disability it should not prevent you from aiming high - and not many places are higher than Kilimanjaro!
