I am organising two teams to take part in the Railway Children's 3 Peaks by Rail Event 2009. The event involves travelling between Snowdon, Scafell Pike andBen Nevisby rail rather than the usual cars or buses. Because of this it takes place over 2 days.

Due to the rail sections the event also requires a 5 mile hike, on top of the climbs, to get from Dalegarth toScafell Pike,before we start climbing making it especially tough.

As part of our fund raising the teams shall be arranging another rail tour to raise as much money as possible. In 2007 we did a similar thing and managed to raise £19,500. Details of our special tour will appear here in the near future.
