Hi i'm running the Great North Run this year in aid of Diabetes UK. Just over 2 yrs ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and i was on insulin injections 3 times a day and also tablets twice a day. I didnt know too much about diabetes but I changed my whole lifestyle and now I am virtually meds free. I think more research is needed and more advice needs to be given for the prevention of it hence me running for this chosen charity. Its my first time running the GNR and i would appreciate your support and donations even the smallest amount will also show your support for me and also if you could share this would be massively appreciated thankyou.
