Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 18th September this year I will be taking part in the Great North Run in Newcastle in order to raise money for The Christie. As some of you may already know, earlier this year a good friend and colleague of mine (Stephen Faccenda) was sadly taken from us after battling with a brain tumour. On hearing of his illness I decided that I would like to raise some awareness and hopefully some money for a charity of Stephen's choice. After some discussion Stephen said he would like me to run for The Christie as this is where he was being treated. The Christie is the largest Cancer Centre in Europe and they constantly need charitable donations in order to continue their vital research and great work in treating people with cancer. So please, if you can, dig deep and contribute to such a worthy cause. I have never run anywhere near the 13.2 miles that is needed on the day so hopefully you can show your support and make the run that little bit easier by helping me raise a healthy sum of money for The Christie.
