Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On May 11th, I'll be cycling from Lands End and making my way up the country over the next fourteen days, pedalling for over 1000 miles to reach John O'Groats.  I'll be doing the ride solo and unsupported, averaging over 70 miles each day.

I'm raising money for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.  Like a lot of new parents, we've spent several anxious nights at the hospital with our daughter Alice.  We're all very grateful to the hospital and staff.  They make a huge effort to make the hospital as child friendly as possible, and we were both able to stay with Alice the whole time she was ill.  I'm doing this ride to raise money to help them offer this kind of support to other parents who find out that their baby needs hospital treatment.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Edinburgh Sick Kids Friends Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!  1,000 miles of cycling awaits!

Thanks,

Andrew
