During the 18 - 21 July 2008 I and a friend, Richard More, will be taking part in a cycle ride from London to Paris in three days. Think of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boordman adventure 'Long Way Down' We are doing it with pure PEDAL POWER, no motorbikes....

We are raising funds equally to support the work of Rejuvenate Worldwide in the UK and Africa and also The Salvation Army working with 'at risk' young people and families in Birmingham and in particular in Aston.

Worldwide there are over 1.6million members, with programmes including homeless centres, drug rehabilitation centres, schools, hospitals and medical centres, as well as nearly 16,000 church and community centres.

The Challenge:

Day 1: London to Dieppe via Newhaven approx 98.8km
Day 2: Dieppe to Gournay en Bray approx 80km
Day 3: Gournay en Bray to Eiffel Tower, Paris approx 114km
