We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

I am part of  The Achy Breaky Bears a group of not so elite athletes and generally bad blokes and women from Northampton who will be tackling a number of challenges that will push us to our limits !!!

On the 28th June 2014 I am joining the team for my 1st event, I am doing the 5k Pain and Suffering obstacle race.  The reason I have decided to do this is for mine and Mark's son who has been under the care of GOSH for the last 3 years and I would like to give something back to the gastro team who have and will continue to look after him and many other children.
This is something that hasn't come naturally to me and I've had to put in a lot of training leading up to the event which includes obstacle training, body pump classes, running in the gym and the street and then I've joined British Military Fitness to help me put it all together. I won't lie it's been difficult and I've picked up a few pulls along the way and completing the run will be a huge achievement for me.

Great Ormond Street are doing an amazing job so if people can dig as deep as possible that would be amazing even if its only £1 it all helps towards this great cause !!! I have asked that all the money I raise goes towards endoscopes for the gastro suite.

Please help us reach the team target because once my race is finished the rest of the team will continue to raise money at events throughout the year including completing all 8 UK Tough Mudders.

If you would like to join The Achy Breaky Bears on any of their adventures at all then pls just get in touch and ask !!!

Thanks for donating and Hoorah !!!
