Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2017 my Dad passed away suddenly leaving a huge hole in our lives, so this is in his honour. He was larger than life and the life and soul of any party, and so it's only fitting that we raise money for such a fantastic cause by means of celebration, and through games of football which he adored.

This page is used to accumulate the money raised in my dad's honour over the years and is displayed on the UK Sepsis Trust memorial page, so any comments and support will also be linked with that.

There is an annual event and details can always be found on: https://www.facebook.com/KennyRayMemorial/
We are based in North East Wales and everyone is welcome to attend any event, donate and spread awareness of this cause.

The UK Sepsis trust is a fantastic cause that help to save so many lives, spreading awareness of this awful infection. It is a charity that is really close to our hearts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
