Amelia will be running the Great Manchester 10k to help the homeless through the work of Barnabus a homeless charity in Manchester city centre. From an early age she has always been passionate about helping homeless and vulnerable people. Amelia believes that everyone deserves a home and to feel safe.

Amelia has Autism and has a real empathy with those who find life challenging, as she does.

Running the Great Manchester 10k will be a huge achievement for Amelia as she will need to overcome many difficulties to do so. She feels it will be well worth it as it will help people less fortunate than herself. She has set herself a target of raising £750.

Barnabus is a Christian Homeless Charity in Manchester, we've been supporting the homeless for over 25 years through our city centre drop-in, support offices, outreach and collaborative projects. We now offer a lifeline to around 500 - 600 visiting homeless and vulnerable people each week
