Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I'm not only running the marathon again but I've rashly vowed to do it faster than my brother-in-law Mathew Cotterill (justgiving.com/mathewcotterill), and faster than my previous time of 3hrs56.
I say rashly because I'm not nearly as fit as last time, I can't seem to run without getting a cold and and I've left it a bit last minute to kick in to the training. But a promise is a promise....
Why Anthony Nolan? Because of Adrian Sudbury, who I never met. But I did read his blog. Maybe it's because he was a journalist, or maybe because he seemed like such a nice guy... all I can say is go to http://baldyblog.freshblogs.co.uk/, read the blog, then donate some money.
I'll also be raising money for Help the Hospices, so if Baldy's Blog doesn't convince you to donate, you can go to justgiving.com/anothermarathoneffort to visit my hospice fundraising page.
You can follow marathon-related tweets on twitter (including mine) by searching for the tag #londonmarathon and you can follow my training progress (with pictures and video) at bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/blogs
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Anthony Nolan Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
