Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may know, it has been my ambition to compete in the London Marathon before my 40th birthday ever since I did a 20 mile walk at high school, way back in sunny Poynton!

I decided to enter this year as I was told that it can take 5 years to get a place - plenty of time to prepare for 26 miles!

Well, I managed to secure a place for next year running on behalf of a wonderful charity called Phabkids, so I only have 9 months to prepare rather than the few years that I planned on! Paul is being very supportive and giving me lots of time so I can go out in all weathers training, although secretly I think he is smiling at my madness from the comfort of the nice warm house!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
