Story
Firstly thank you for you support and for reading this, especially the people who have already sponsored me for other events of mine.
I imagined that my backside would be extremely sore from the Randonnee Challenge (100 mile 10,000 feet climb mountain bike ride) I thought I would give it a rest by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro .
19,340 feet (5,895m), Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the largest freestanding mountain in the world (world’s fourth highest peak). To put into perspective it is just over 2/3rds of the height of Everest and as cold as -20°C. Don’t worry Everest’s to come ;-)I have decided to do this challenge for the Amani Children’s Home which sits at the bottom of
Mount Kilimanjaro who care for Tazania’s street children, and AIDS orphans. I will also have the opportunity to visit the Amani home in Moshi, Tazania, where I will spend time with the children who will benefit from the money donated.
The Amani Children's Home rescues children from the perils of life on the streets, who face a high risk of HIV transmission and malnutrition.
I'm covering all of the costs of the trip from my own money so 100% of your donation will go to the Amani Children’s Home.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Guerba for Good will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
