BEN is the UK's dedicated charity for those who work, or have worked, in the automotive and related industries and their dependants.

As well as providing practical, emotional and financial support to thousands of people every year, BEN also has four care centres around the country, offering a wide range of services from residential to full nursing care.  In addition, it runs a day care centre in Coventry, where those within the industry can leave an elderly relative to be cared for while they work.

The staff at Alexandra House will be taking as many residents as we can, and recruiting family and friends to push, on a walk around the seaside town of Southport.  We will be leaving at 11.00am and taking a route along Lord Street before making our way to the seafront.  We hope to provide an enjoyable day out for the residents and families whilst rattling our buckets to raise awareness and funds for BEN.
