Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
You may know that our daughter, Caitlin, aged 10, has B-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, which is a rare and aggressive children's Cancer. The treatment that she is undergoing is the same as that for Leukaemia.
As a family, we have a lot to be thankful to charities such as Leukaemia Research. Without the specialist treatment that Caiti is undergoing, her future would be bleak. Without the money raised by Leukaemia Research, there would be no treatment.
On May 11 this year, the whole family, Caiti included, will be taking part in the Woking Bikeathon to help raise money for Leukaemia Research. For Caiti and her little brother and sister, it'll be the longest ride of their lives.
UPDATE: We hit our original target within 48 hours, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of all those people that have been kind enough to donate. We're going to try and hit a new target. Thank you all.
SECOND UPDATE: We hit our second, raised, target within 24 hours of raising the bar. Which is absolutely unbelievable. So we've raised the bar again. Keep those donations coming!! Thank You ALL!!
THIRD UPDATE. We're speechless. The generosity of all the people listed below as well as the off-line donators has been truly mind boggling. We've raised the bar yet again, this time so high that even Chris Waddle's penalty in 1990 wouldn't have missed. We are truly truly grateful to all the friends and family that have sponsored our forthcoming effort - and genuinely humbled by the generosity of those that don't know us personally, but have felt moved enough to try to make a difference to combat these terrible illnesses. THANK YOU ALL.
FOURTH UPDATE. Following a Fundraising Day at Woking FC, where 1000 odd raffle tickets were bought in addition to many other brilliant instances of generosity, such as the Club Doctor donating his match fee to the cause, we've been able to add over £1200 to the overall total. Consequently the bar has been raised again - for which we make no apology!! We thank Woking FC for their generosity, and those that helped us on the day for their efforts - it is much appreciated.
FIFTH UPDATE. Well, we completed the course in a record breaking five hours and thirty minutes, which, for the children, was a fantastic effort. We enjoyed terrific weather and our thanks, on the day, go to the marshals, other riders and checkpoint staff who did much to encourage the three littl'uns as they "powered" around the long course. Team Biscuit has managed to raise an unbelievable amount for Leukaemia Research, and on their behalf we thank each and every one of you.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
