WALK
18 mile walk across beautiful Shropshire countryside, taking in rural villages, riverside walks and along the Severn into Shrewsbury
Starting at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, the route takes us out through Apley Woods, Wrockwardine Village, Upton Magna, Uffington and then along the River Severn to The Quarry. Continuing on past The Boathouse and onto The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where we end the walk.
The wonderful volunteers of the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund will welcome us home with an afternoon garden party in the ground the Shropshire Education and Conference Centre.
RUN
Following the same route as the walk, this 18 mile run is ideal for the more energetic fundraiser.
Taking in the sights and sounds of rural Shropshire, the run is challenging enough to test even the most experienced runner. The route is entirely hard surface, using footpaths, rural roads and cycle paths.
Planned to co-incide with 2014 Shrewsbury Marathon, this 18 mile run is an ideal preparation event for those wishing to take part in the full marathon or half marathon.
Once again, The wonderful volunteers of the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund will welcome us home with an afternoon garden party in the grounds the Shropshire Education and Conference Centre.
RIDE
The most challenging event is a 35 Miles for 35 Years cycle ride though some of Shropshire's finest scenery and tourist areas.
Starting at the Princess Royal Hospital, the route takes us out around The Wrekin, through Little Wenlock and on into Ironbridge.
Leaving Ironbridge, we take in the Roman City of Wroxeter and onto Atcham and Upton Magna
Following Cycle Route 81, we continue through Uffington and along the River Severn into The Quarry at Shrewsbiury and then onto the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital
Along with the walkers and runners, we will all join back together at the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund Garden Party at the Shropshire Education and Conference Centre.
