The last time I had hair, I was playing in an all-conquering Forest youth team managed by an inspirational coach, John Perkins, a great man who helped so many players (including myself) fulfil their childhood dreams of playing professional football.

I want to pay tribute by raising money for a charity he would have approved of by running over 1215 miles (to make it 3,000 miles run in 2 years) & growing my hair (hopefully to a crazy afro size) over 2019 remembering that John always told one particular player to get his hair cut on a daily basis  - he'd love the irony & the sense of fun!

All support, encouragement and donations would be greatly received and appreciated and you can feel great in knowing that you have contributed to an amazing cause.

I haven't had an afro since I was 5 or even hair for at least 25 years but humiliation for a good cause is perfectly acceptable - let's make it count!
