Story
Hey everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
In June this summer, I'm cycling 400 miles from the University of Leeds to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I’ll be cycling for about 8 hours a day for 6 straight days.
The ride is with other keenos from Leeds RAG (Raise and Give) and I’m raising lots of pennies as well as awareness for the charity Save the Children.
Save the Children supports both emergency and long-term relief and development projects for children. Its recent focus has been on securing children’s lives from the devastating Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and preventing the targeting of children in Syria’s war.
If you can find it in your heart to make a donation, however big or small, here is what you can help achieve:
£3 could pay for life-saving treatment for eight children with diarrhoea
£25 could provide ‘safe birth kits’ for three women giving birth at home
£50 could buy two hygiene kits with soap, towels and toothbrushes
If you would like to learn more about Save the Children and what they do, take 5 minutes out of those 1,440 in your day to have a look at their website. It's truly inspiring stuff.

Thank you for reading and wish me luck for the ride!
NB: All of the money I raise goes directly to Save the Children. I am paying for my expenses out of my own back pocket.
