Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page that is linked to the "Adam Illingworth Fund". We want to raise funds for CLIC Sargent to help other children and their families coping with cancer.
At the age of 5, Adam was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He was transferred from hospital in Middlesbrough to Newcastle General. After having the tumour removed, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Adam was left with a lot of health issues. His world was turned upside down. CLIC Sargent supported Adam and his family through this time. Adam was given the all clear from cancer a few years ago. Sadly he passed away on 6th February 2016 from a seizure.
Please sponsor our participation in the Middlesbrough 10K Tees Pride run by donating on line. All donations will go to support the work of CLIC Sargent via the Adam Illingworth Fund; CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading cancer charity for children, young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. To find out more visit www.clicsargent.org.uk
